Founded by Marina Dragomirova & Iain Howlett, Studio Furthermore explores new material and cultural realities inspired by processes found in nature.
Working across glass, ceramic, metal, and beyond, the studio blends the virtues of craft with future narratives.
Central to Studio Furthermore’s approach is the development of unique processes used to create editions furniture. This includes designs crafted from aluminium foam recycled from car wheels and accessories made with porcelain foam. Their work encompasses elemental and futurist themes.
Studio Furthermore's designs are held in the permanent collections of the Vitra Design Museum, The MAK Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna, and the CID Grand-Hornu in Belgium. In 2025, their Moon Rock project will be permanently installed on the Moon as part of the Moon Gallery, in collaboration with ESA.
